A sold-out event, shining eyes, and plenty of completed pieces: The Ulm Puzzle Workshop and Spielespatz celebrated an unforgettable evening.
On March 14, 2026, it finally happened: In the heart of Ulm, Spielespatz opened its doors for a special evening event – the 1st Ulm Puzzle Night, hosted by Ralph Ulmer and the Ulm Puzzle Workshop in Ulm. And what an evening it was.
The store quickly filled with people who shared one thing: a passion for puzzling. Whether seasoned veterans with practiced fingers or newcomers puzzling in a community for the first time – the atmosphere was warm, relaxed, and contagiously good from the very first minute.
The Ulm Puzzle Workshop provided a large selection of puzzles for the evening – from challenging 500 to 1,000-piece designs, everything from the range was available. Sitting comfortably at tables, enjoying good conversation and the satisfying click of matching pieces, time flew by.
What made this evening special was not just the puzzling itself – it was the atmosphere. People who didn’t know each other before came together over shared designs. Laughter, concentration, small successes: Puzzling connects – this was more palpable than ever that night.
The demand surprised even us: The event was completely sold out within just 48 hours. A clear sign that a real puzzle community in and around Ulm had been waiting to meet and connect.
One thing is certain: The 1st Ulm Puzzle Night will not be the last. We are already planning the next event – and look forward to welcoming even more puzzle enthusiasts to the community.
