Puzzling for a Good Cause – Ulmer Puzzleschmiede Supports the 1st Open Montferland Puzzle Championship

On April 6, 2026 – the second day of Easter – the Sporthal DSV Relax in Didam, Netherlands, will transform into a puzzle paradise. The very first Open Montferlands Legpuzzel Kampioenschap will open its doors. And we at Ulmer Puzzleschmiede will be there.

Puzzling with a strong purpose

There is more behind the tournament than just sporting ambition. The entire event is a fundraiser for the Alpe d'HuZes team “21x21 is ons doel" – and the proceeds go directly to the fight against cancer. 100% of the Alpe d'HuZes donations are fully used for scientific cancer research. Opgevenisgeenoptie The main event – the 19th edition of Alpe d'HuZes – will take place on June 4, 2026 Opgevenisgeenoptie, when thousands of participants climb Alpe d'Huez in France: on foot, running, or by bike.

The puzzle tournament in Didam is one of the preparatory events in this race year – small in format, big in impact.

Something for everyone

You can participate alone, in pairs, or in teams of up to four people – and you can puzzle all day long. Omroep Gelderland Whether beginner or competition veteran: the event connects puzzle enthusiasts from the Netherlands and Germany. German participants are explicitly welcome.
